Animation

This is my animation before rendering, editing and sound effects.

This is my final piece of animation, it is my favourite piece of animation that I have created so far

even though I did find certain things difficult I still enjoyed it. I did struggle with  the project due to the fact that it was a very busy time for me and Maya stopped working on my University account so I had to complete the rest of it on my laptop where it did lag however I am still proud of the animtion and it has inspired me to further a career in 3D animation.

References

I then researched how someone moves when skating, I watched various videos on different tricks or simple tutorials to understand the basics of how the body and the board moved. I then made referencing images out of some of the videos and used them for reference when doing my key poses. 

I also made a board on my pinterest account so that i could refer to other animations and videos, or if i saw something that inspired me i could go back and study it.

Animatic

Using my storyboard i created an animatic which I then timed out in After effects.

There were a few things that could have been improved so I redid my animatic to add in interesting and dynamic shots.
